I don't remember the first time I heard THE CURE'S "pornography," but I do recall playing it for a week straight after a break-up, in my room, while it rained outside. I wasn't trying to feel better. "It doesn't matter if we all die," was just the line I needed to hear at the time. The new track from DEMMERS, takes me back to that week, but I'm much better now. I can now get over myself and appreciate this for the jangly guitar, dark lyrics, pulsing drums, and the strong vocal delivery. Jerad sings "something's wrong, nothing's right" on the chorus of "the pulse" but I can't help feeling that something is right about this new project of his and I can't wait for more. Don't take my word for it though, hear it for yourself, here.
